You’ve raised a good point here, and added some great info for people. With the big push these days being toward Web 2.0 techniques like blogging, Twitter & article marketing, too many people are forgetting the bedrock of the biz – free targeted traffic from the search engines. Without paying attention to the fields you mention, people are foregoing that traffic and fighting an uphill battle all the way.
