We just posted a new video for our newest client, Ability I.T. of Lakeville, MN
We hope to get it ranked on Google searches for the Keyword: Tech Support Minneapolis.
As of today January 10, 2014 there are no videos ranked for this term on the first 10 pages of Google, so this will be an interesting test of our tools and techniques.

New Video Released by Minneapolis Locksmith
Fast Eddys Keys Express has released a new video called, Lockout Service Minneapolis Fast Eddys Keys Express 612-822-3773
I will be doing what I can to try to get this ranked on the first page of Google for a search in the Minneapolis area for the keyword, “Lockout Service.”

One of my clients, Fast Eddy of Fast eddy’s Keys Express has made a new video. This time focusing on one aspect of his business, door security.
We have upgraded his approach with this video in a number of respects.
We have added a short but effect intro and exit, that he can use on all future videos. This will help better brand him, as well as provide an automatic call to action at the end of each video.
Fast Eddy wants prospective customers to call his, and thus that is exactly what we have added to the back end of the video.
Like many businesses, Eddy has multiple products. The most difficult to rank for on Google is his main keyword, Locksmith Minneapolis and/or Minneapolis Locksmith.
Working together, we have managed to get him listed both on organic search and most significantly in the Google Plus Local Pages 7 pack.
These are driving a lot of business to him on a daily basis.
But despite our ability to rank videos in a lot of other niches, for some reason we have been stymied in getting his earlier videos to rank for Locksmith Minneapolis and/or Minneapolis Locksmith.
So back to the drawing board.
In this newest video, I have added a couple of new ideas to assist in the ranking. Before uploading the video, I tagged it using MP3 Tag Software, which is a new trick I recently learned about.
This is in essence meta tag information on the video itself and includes our keyword in the title of the video itself, and in the tags associated with the video.
Also, I substituted my own captions for the automated captions Google’s voice recognition software came up with. The automated stuff has a long ways to go yet.
I also paid more attention to the tags I used on YouTube itself, making sure I listed my highest priority tags first.
These are new or newer steps I have not always done in the past.
I also used multiple annotations in this video, for some of the tags, specifically Minneapolis locksmith, maxi plate and super maxi plate, as well as a couple of additional annotations for effect.
My primary goal for this video is to get it to rank for Door hardware Minneapolis. Now most people who see it there are probably looking to buy hardware for do it yourself purposes. However, some may come to see Eddy as a possible resource. The good news for Eddy, is that it is likely that his video, once it is ranked is likely to stay ranked for months and years to come.
The secondary goal is to possibly rank for Locksmith Minneapolis, where we were unsuccessful in the past. Time will tell, whether the additional steps taken to rank this video will be enough to break through.
The ace in the hole, is that in addition to having this listed on his YouTube Channel, we have now started a YouTube Play List.
We will combine all of his current and future videos on this playlist. As time goes on, the play list itself can rank.
All of these efforts combined over time will lead to Fast Eddy’s Keys Express dominating the Google rankings for Minneapolis Locksmith.
One last comment. The video is what we call a “Talking Head Video.” For many businesses this is the easiest and also the most effective style of video.
One of the reasons it is so hard to rank for locksmith Minneapolis, is that their are tons of generic videos made by “lead Generation” sites that do not actually do locksmithing, but rather collect leads that they sell to locksmiths for a fee.
The talking head video in contrast shows a real person, and authenticity that converts into action a lot better, than animated videos that may be slicker, and or more engaging, but lack that essential element of being “real.”

My newest client is Bergo Environmental Services.
They offer Asbestos Abatement, Asbestos Surveys, Lead Paint Abatement, Mold Remediation and Fuel Oil Tank Removal Service in Minneapolis, MN and the West Suburban Communities of the city.
Our strategy to grow their business is to create a series of four videos targeted on these services and attempt to get the videos to rank for their specific keywords.
The first video is called: Gravity Octopus Furnace Removal Minneapolis – a sexy title don’t you think? Well maybe not, but I bet it works to attract just those people who Bergo hopes to serve.
The Second Video of the series is called Lead Paint Removal Minneapolis and it uses the same template and music as the first.
The third video in the series is called Mold Removal and Remediation Minneapolis. That way I was able to get both of the major keywords, Mold removal and mold remediation in the title.
The final video for today is on Fuel Oil Tank Removal. It is daringly called, Fuel Oil Tank Removal Minneapolis 952-920-8920.
Where or where do I come up with these cliff hanger titles? 🙂
You can watch it here:
While my titles may be boring, the results are actually pretty exciting. In the time it took me to create this post, at least one of the videos is already ranking on the first page of Google results for the title phrase.
Now I use a couple of addition secrets to get this done. but sometimes a good (of boring) title is all it takes. But not always. If there is a fair amount of competition in a given niche it will often take my entire kit bag of tricks and some time to get a video to rank.

YouTube Video Marketing
I just created a new YouTube video for Postal Dispatch Business Service Center. This time I focused on the Keyword, “Print on Demand Printer Minneapolis.”
It is one of the services they offer, that does not show up on the Google 7 pack and is relatively hard to rank for organically.
This makes it an ideal candidate to try ranking a with a video.
Time will tell how successful it will be, but I am optimistic. So far most of my efforts for Postal dispatch have been ranking videos in Bloomington, which is not a small suburb by any means. Not sure of its exact population, but its nearly 100,000 so its getting up there. Minneapolis though is 4-5 times as large and the name city in the region. (Sorry – St Paul) So most suburban businesses will try to rank as Minneapolis, even if not in the city proper. That means getting ranked there will take more effort.
About time I tried, don’t you think.

Just published a new video for Postal Dispatch promoting their large format printing capability. This time specifically focusing on the keyword Poster Printing Bloomington MN and Bloomington Mn Poster printers.
Again we took a handful of images and created a simple Animoto Video, which we uploaded to Youtube and then worked out secret sauce to hopefully get it to rank on the first page of Google within a day or two.
We have been having a good deal of success lately with the technique and hopefully it will continue.

I have been doing more and more work with local clients. Among the things I like doing best for them is getting videos ranked so they show up on the first page of Google.
It is easier to do that often than it is to get their main web page ranked.
I just did three Animoto videos for one of my newer clients. We won’t win any academy awards for it, but I think it demonstrates their credentials well.
Now it may take a few weeks to actually get these to rank for our chosen keywords, but it will happen. And when it does, they will get new business, which will put a smile on their faces and mine.
Especially as they still do not have a website finished. Who says you need a website to get business online? (It does help though!)

Did you spend money on a video for your business? Has the investment paid off? Probably not if it’s not showing up on the first page of Google Results for your keyword. While YouTube is itself a huge search engine, the real profits occur when you can get that video to show up on a relevant Google search.
If you can get your YouTube Video to Rank on the first page of Google Search results you can get significantly enhanced visibility for your business in at least two ways.
First let’s look at the following two Google Searches. The first is a fairly typical search with ads on top followed by organic results below.
The next is similar, except that in this case a YouTube video is showing up on the page. What do you want to bet that listing gets more clicks than most of the others?
I can’t prove it, but I have heard that these listings get a LOT more traffic because people like videos and also because it just stands out.
Now if the video does a good job at presenting your message and you have a good description which sends people to your page you are going to get good results.
The second reason this will help you get more business is that this video placement in no way keeps you from ranking your Google Places Page or Organic listing on the page as well. If you can get all three listed, people will virtually be stumbling all over you and as a result you will get a solid chance of doing business with almost everyone who searches for your keywords.
Do you have a YouTube Video That No One Sees?
Now many businesses have YouTube videos that are not ranking or showing up on the first page of Google. It takes a special effort and know how to get them ranking. And that is precisely the new service I am offering to local businesses.
I admit I am new at this myself, but I am so confident that I can get your existing YouTube video to rank, I am for the time being offer a zero down, no risk deal to the next handful of businesses that contact me.
There are some conditions. I need to be sure it will be worth my while, but here is the deal. Once we agree to work together, I will at no cost to you employ my techniques to get a copy of your existing video to rank on the first page of Google.
Once I do, and only after I do, you will pay me an agreed upon fee which we will negotiate upfront. (Depends on market, competition and difficulty level)
Once it’s up, you should start seeing results. If after 30 days of it’s being up, you decide it’s not working for you, for any reason whatsoever, you can contact me and I will refund your entire initial payment.
How’s that for a risk free offer?
Assuming it is working, you will pay the monthly fee via a paypal subscription. You will be ale to quit that at any time as well. No long term contracts.
Now to do this effectively, I can only work with one customer per niche per city. Otherwise the positive effects would get diluted. So if you have a video that sells your business, but that is not now ranking on the first page of Google, give me a holler.
This is a first come first serve deal. And my free upfront charge will disappear as soon as I get yours and a few other people’s testimonials. (And the monthly fee as well.)
Email me at enetwal @ gmail.com and put “YouTube Offer” in the subject line so it doesn’t get overlooked when I wade through my email.
