cPanel is, I believe, an essential part of your website. Hosting that does not have it should be avoided. Although I don’t recommend using it to set up your blog.

I have Bob the Teacher’s cPanel videos and I agree they are very good – especially for the beginners. Thanks for this info.

There’s no doubt about it, Earl – cPanel has made setting up, running and optimizing blogs & sites so much easier that it’s foolish to book hosting these days that doesn’t come with cPanel enabled.

This looks like a very valuable video set for anyone who is starting out online. Most web hosting has Cpanel, so it’s important to learn and be able to use it a little.

Like you said, you don’t have to be an expert in it, but knowing the basics can really help.

C-Panel is something that every one with a website should at least have an understanding of.
